Charlotte Qamaniq

Charlotte Qamaniq is a North Baffin Inuk performance artist, actor, and contemporary and traditional throat singer hailing from Iglulik, Nunavut. She is best known for her work in the throat singing duo Silla, and in twice Juno nominated band Silla and Rise (sillaandrise.com). Other credits include collaboration with Norway’s Eurovision finalists Keiino on the song Black Leather, an acting debut in Qaggiavuut’s Kiviuq Returns, and circus debut with Inuit performance collective Artcirq in Unikkaaqtuat.

Nathan and Eliza Mather are Inuit, Tsimshian, and Nisga’a children who love their culture, land and peers. Eliza likes spending their time animating, drawing, and hanging out with their friends. Nathan likes playing video games, reading books, and target practicing with his BB gun. They both grew up throat singing with their mother and traveling to Nunavut to spend time with their family in Iqaluit and in Iglulik.
