SATE is a Toronto-based artist whose electrifying fusion of blistering blues and dirty rock embodies power and soul. Daughter of Canadian legend Salome Bey, she’s captivated audiences worldwide with her fierce presence and raw sound.

Her sophomore album *THE FOOL*, a Tarot-inspired cosmic rock odyssey, earned a 2022 JUNO nomination, Polaris Music Prize longlist, and Jim Beam INDIE nod. Featured in *Vogue*, *FADER*, and *AfroPunk*, SATE is the first and only Black Canadian woman to perform on AfroPunk stages in London, Paris, New York, and Atlanta.

A Dora Award-winning theatre artist, her credits include *APORTIA CHRYPTYCH*, *DION: A Rock Opera*, and *Scott Joplin's Treemonisha: A Musical Reimagining*. Currently developing her one-woman play, *THE LISTENING*, and collaborating with Montreal dance company MAYDAY DANSE on a new work premiering in June 2027, SATE continues exploring the intersection of music, theatre, and movement.
