Moaz hosni

Moaz Hosni is a Palestinian filmmaker based in Gaza. 

With over a decade of experience in media production, he works across documentary and short-form film, combining rigorous reportage with a cinematic eye for composition, editing, and color grading. 

Working and creating under siege, Moaz’s work is defined by its immediacy and intimacy: he documents daily survival, displacement, and resilience, often shooting in hazardous conditions to capture testimony from the front lines. His films foreground human stories while interrogating the wider reality of life in conflict. A hands-on director, Moaz shoots, edits, and finishes his own material, bringing craft and editorial clarity to every project. His practice reflects both professional commitment and personal stakes - as a filmmaker and a father living through the war - which give his work its urgency and moral focus.
