Sheree Spencer finds creative balance as a Producer, Director and Performing Artist with a strong passion for interdisciplinary art expression. Born in Toronto with Barbadian heritage, Sheree is currently based in New York City and works as a Company Manager on the Artistic Programming Team of Lincoln Center.
As a producer, Sheree is drawn to works that experiential, challenge form and center underrepresented voices. Producing credits include TD Emerging Producer for Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival (2016), Associate Producer of Luminato Festival's 2022 Artists In Residence Program, Lead Producer on Scott Joplin's Treemonisha with Volcano Theatre (2023) Associate Producer on Aportia Chryptych by the Canadian Opera Company (2024). Sheree was selected a 2024 Mellon Foundation Producing Fellow with Beth Morrison Projects where she worked as the Associate Producer on Next Gen at National Sawdust (2024) Black Lodge in LA Premiere at The United and the NYC premiere of Black Lodge at BRIC Arts Media with Prototype Festival (2025). Sheree has also been recently selected as a 2025 CIPA Rising Producer and enjoys working as a freelance producer across borders.
